Weather in Corralejo

With 7 miles of sandy beaches, Corralejo has a desirable Mediterranean climate with beautiful weather all year round. Since Corralejo lies on the island of Fuerteventura, it has the same weather hazards the rest of the island has, specifically the dust storms that can blow up. Because Corralejo lies across the bay from the western edge of the Sahara Desert, it often is in the path of these dust storms. The storms generally occur between February and March and last two to four days. More of an inconvenience than a danger, they can still wreak havoc on your visit if one occurs while you're in the area.
