June is the transitional month between the cooler dry season and the warmer wet season in St. Kitts. It is relatively dry, still, and temperatures have noticeably increased during the previous few months. Sunshine remains incredibly abundant, as is the case basically any month of the year.
May saw a peak in rainfall total, but June is much less rainy (not that May was that wet to begin with). Now, there is a total amount of rainfall of 80mm, not as much as the following wet season months, yet already a bit more than the months in the middle of the dry season. There are 10 days with rainfall, which, of course, means that there are twice as many, 20 days, without any precipitation at all. The chance of rain is never higher than 20% during this month. Light rain is by far the rainfall type that is most common, occurring on 56% of the days with rainfall. Moderate rain and thunderstorms occur as well, on 22% and 21% of those days respectively.

Take advantage of that and head to Dieppe Bay Beach, a small, grey-sand beach that features calm water thanks to a large reef. The reef is home to a wide variety of sea creatures, making this a great spot for snorkelling. Tall palm trees back the beach, adding to its wonderful tropical charm.

One of the sunniest and hottest months of the year in St. Kitts, June is when you will want to head for the water. If you are in need of some cooling down, you can choose from a wide variety of activities, ranging from adventurous water sports such as flyboarding and kitesurfing to the more laidback and traditional water sports, including stand-up paddle boarding, sailing and sea kayaking.
St. Kitts is home to many attractions, but one of the most remarkable natural attractions is Black Rocks. These striking lava formations located near the Belle Vue Estate on the island's northeast coast are a reminder of the volcanic history of St. Kitts. Consisting of dozens of lava boulders, spikes and pillars, Black Rocks makes for a great spot for photography. It's a particularly stunning place around sunrise.
